Peak 7 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort is home to acres upon acres of gently rolling terrain, perfect for skiing with your entire family or laying down some high speed arcing turns. Check out runs such as Pioneer and Wirepatch for wide-open cruising and natural rollers.
Intermediate bump skiers will delight in Ore Bucket, a low angle mogul field on Peak 7’s north flank. This is also an ideal place to ski well spaced trees or scout for small natural jumps and wind lips.
Peak 7’s most challenging terrain is accessed from the top of the Imperial Express chair on Peak 8. From here, skiers and riders can traverse to steep, above tree line runs such as Vertigo, Y-Chute and C.J.’s. These runs offer steep, deep powder skiing and the ideal opportunity for action shots of your friends.
No matter which portion Peak 7 you choose to explore at the Breckenridge Ski Resort, you’ll enjoy lift access from the Independence Superchair, a six-person high-speed lift that whisks skiers to the top in no time. This portion of the Breckenridge ski area does not offer on-mountain dining, however, a warming hut and bathroom can be found at the top of the Independence chair.
