Peak 8 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort
Peak 8
Peak 8 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort is home to the highest chairlift in North America, The Imperial Express Superchair, at 12,840 feet above sea level. Be sure to check out Imperial Bowl, North Bowl and Whale’s Tail for wide-open, above tree line powder turns.
Lower Peak 8 is also home to immaculately groomed beginner and intermediate runs, ideal for perfecting your technique. The lower portion of the mountain features excellent beginner terrain as well as entry-level terrain parks and half pipes that will entertain the entire family.
Be sure to take the Four O’Clock run past the Breckenridge Ski Resort’s largest terrain park, known simply as Freeway. Here you’re sure to see the world’s best snowboarders and freeskiers spinning and flipping over enormous 80-plus foot jumps. The Four O’Clock run provides a bird’s eye view of the action as riders drop into some of the world’s premier jump, jib and half pipe features. As one of the Breckenridge Ski Resort's primary base areas, Peak 8 is also home to on-mountain dining options such as the Bergenhoff and SubFusion. New this year is the addition of Uncle Glen's Smokehouse, featuring famous pulled pork sandwiches and coleslaw. Breckenridge Ski Resort Homepage
