Our Breckenridge Snowmobile Rentals let you discover Colorado’s pristine backcountry wilderness at your own pace, on over 50 miles of trails atop Vail Pass.  Set out on groomed snowmobile trails, or blaze your own through countless open bowls and meadows along the Continental Divide.  

With over 55,000 acres of terrain to explore, the Vail Pass Winter Recreation Area offers tremendous snowmobiling opportunities for experienced and non-experienced riders alike.  Full-Day and Half-Day rentals are available with options for both single and double riders.   

Snowmobile Rental check-in takes place in the town of Frisco, located just 9 miles from Breckenridge and Keystone.  From here, snow machines are trailered to the summit of Vail Pass, where your adventure begins. 

Helmets are included in the cost of all Breckenridge Snowmobile Rentals.  Snowsuits, boots and goggles are available for an additional charge.  

Full-Day Snowmobile Rentals offer 7 hours of riding time and begin at 9:00 am daily.  Half-Day Rentals offer 3 hours of snowmobiling and begin at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm daily.  Rider check-in is required 45 minute prior to snowmobile rental times.

Additional Information:  

  • Helmets are included in the cost of all snowmobile rentals.  Snowsuits, boots and goggles are available for rent for an additional fee of $18.
  • Breckenridge Snowmobile Rental prices do not include gas, tax or National Forest Service user fees of $6 per person.
  • Drivers must be 15 years of age in order to operate a snowmobile.
  • A credit card imprint, serving as a damage deposit, is required on all Breckenridge Snowmobiling Rentals. 
  • A signed liability waiver for personal injury is required prior to Snowmobile Rental departure.
  • Please note that all Breckenridge Snowmobile Rentals have a 72 hour cancellation policy.
